April 1 Meeting Recap

Thank you to those who attended our second meeting of the Allston-Brighton Chapter! Whether you were at the meeting and are eager to work together on next steps, or if you weren't able to make it but are interested in joining the discussion, feel free to join our Slack channel here.

At the meeting we brainstormed several near-term and longer-term goals and actions that we can work on together in community, such as:

• Directly lobbying our elected officials about legislative priorities such as the Corporate Fair Share Act

• Building partnerships with the existing organizations doing great work in the Allston-Brighton Community

• Making connections with each other & our neighbors through coffee chats & postcarding

• Flyering in Allston-Brighton to get the word out about who we are and what we're doing

• And more!

We will plan to meet on the first Tuesday of each month and will host our next meeting on Tuesday, May 6 at 6:30 PM at the PSF Community Center, New Balance Room (640 Washington St, Brighton, MA 02135). You can add it to a Google calendar here.
