Interested in helping lead Allston-Brighton Progressives?

Hi everyone,

We’re opening applications for the Allston-Brighton Progressives Steering Committee, and we’d love to have a diverse group of neighbors help guide our priorities for the year ahead.

If you care about housing, transit, tenant rights, climate, local democracy—or you just enjoy the idea of making our neighborhood a little more powerful and a little more connected—we encourage you to apply. You don’t need years of organizing experience or a long résumé. We’re looking for people who show up, think clearly, and want to build something together.

The application is short (a 250-word prompt and a few checkboxes), and the tone of the committee is collaborative, curious, and occasionally even fun. We promise not to trap you in any endless Zooms.

We plan to formally name the steering committee (with a vote if necessary) at the December 2nd meeting. So if you are applying but can’t make it on the 2nd, please let me know, but that should not be a deal-breaker.
